Professional development

Training and talks for your school

Dr. Aryeh Berlin, founder of Aspire Psychological Group, presents to school staff on recognizing and responding to anxiety in students. Sessions can be tailored to your team and scheduled for an in-service day, department meeting, or standalone training, and can count toward PDH requirements where applicable.

Sessions can also be discussion-based, using short film clips as talking points instead of a straight lecture, which keeps staff engaged for the full session.

Common questions

What school teams ask us

Do we need parent permission to refer a student?

Yes. Please talk with the family first, then either give them our number or, with their permission, share their contact information with us. Our team reaches out to the family directly.

How much information do you need from the school?

Very little. We do not need clinical details to schedule a first conversation. Share only what is appropriate for your role, and the family can fill in the rest.

Is there a waitlist?

No. Families hear back from our team within 24 hours, and we work to schedule a first appointment quickly.

Do you take insurance?

We are an out-of-network practice. Many families with PPO plans have out-of-network benefits, and we use Thrizer to handle the reimbursement paperwork so families are not left doing it on their own.

Can you coordinate with our school team?

Yes. With a signed release from the family, our team can talk with counselors, teachers, and school psychologists so support at school and in therapy stays aligned.

Where do families come for sessions?

Sessions are in person at our office at 345 NJ-17, Suite 33, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458.
