Dr. Jakobov-Assouline is a licensed psychologist who has eclectic experience working in schools, inpatient and outpatient settings, and community residential homes. She received her Psy.D. from Hofstra University and her B.A from Stern College for Women, Yeshiva University.
Dr. Jakobov-Assouline completed her pre-doctoral internship at Zucker Hillside Hospital, on the adult women’s and perinatal unit. She then completed her Postdoctoral training at Achieve Behavioral Health treating individuals with anxiety, adjustment disorders, depression, and emerging adult related issues.
Dr. Jakobov-Assouline utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and positive psychology to help you become the best version of yourself. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. Dr. Jakobov-Assouline tailors treatment to fit your individual needs and instill in you the hope, courage, and confidence to ultimately navigate the challenges in your life. She is a member of the Association of Orthodox Jewish Psychologists.
