At Aspire Psychological, we understand that anxiety can be a challenging and pervasive condition that affects your daily life. We offer specialized Adult Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you conquer anxiety and regain control over your thoughts and emotions.

What is Adult Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)? Adult Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a research-based and highly effective therapeutic approach that specifically targets anxiety. It focuses on unraveling the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT empowers individuals to recognize and modify negative thought patterns, leading to positive changes in emotional well-being and behavior.

Our Patients Love Our Approach

Frequently Asked Questions

Similar to many local providers, we are out-of-network and do not take third-party insurance payments or Medicare. However, patients can potentially receive up to 100% reimbursement from their health insurance, depending on their out-of-network mental health benefits. We’re more than willing to provide patients with insurance receipts for all the treatment they receive to help them with reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance company before getting treatment to understand the extent of fee reimbursement.

We do not prescribe medication, but we collaborate with local psychiatrists and prescribers. Many of our clients find medication helpful, but many of them also progress well in therapy without medication. When necessary, we can help arrange a referral. Additionally, we gladly coordinate our treatment with any current psychopharmacology prescribers.

We do not provide treatment for the following presentations: high-conflict divorce or child custody situations, eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, sexual offenders, or sexual addiction. Finally, we do not work with highly aggressive/violent children or adults.

The length of therapy is dependent on many factors, including your goals, how frequently and consistently you attend sessions, your level of motivation for change, and the type of concerns or issues you are addressing in therapy. In general, recent situational stressors or problems can be addressed in fewer sessions than longer-standing issues, or situations involving trauma or abuse.

If you’re going to get the most out of therapy, it’s important that we are the right fit for each other. Call or text our office to help you decide if we’re a good match and answer any questions you may have about working together. Click this link to call.

Absolutely, we have highly skilled pediatric therapists who offer specialized clinical services for children as young as 8.  We treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, and school-related problems. Our method begins with a comprehensive diagnostic interview with the parent(s). Our interventions may involve individual treatment, intensive therapy, family-centered approaches, parent training, school observations and interventions, or a tailored blend of these strategies. We’re dedicated to providing top-notch care for your child’s well-being.  We utilize evidence-based approaches which means our methods are backed by research.

Your involvement in your child’s therapy sessions depends on various factors, including your child’s age, the nature of the issue, and whether research supports parental involvement in the type of treatment your child is receiving. In some situations, especially with younger children, your guidance and involvement might be crucial for promoting and sustaining behavioral and emotional changes between therapy sessions. On the other hand, with older children or adolescents, allowing privacy between the child and therapist can be essential for building trust and facilitating progress. We prioritize a personalized approach for each family and will collaborate with you to provide clear guidance on how best to support your child’s growth.
